Technical discovery

From technical question to a well-founded decision.

A senior Link2Leap specialist examines one concrete question about your software. You receive the findings, the possible routes and a recommendation for the next step, before committing to a larger engagement.

Fixed price €1,500 excl. VAT, paid in advance. If you give us a follow-on engagement within six months, we credit this amount against that work.

When a discovery fits

  1. 01

A business-critical system no longer fits well, and it is unclear whether improving, integrating or replacing it is the right route.

  2. 02

You have doubts about the technical quality or future-readiness of existing software.

  3. 03

A new development question or AI application is on the table, and its feasibility is not yet clear.

  4. 04

Knowledge of the system sits with a few people, and you want to know where the risks are.

How it works

  1. 01

    Intake

Together we define one central question and determine what information is needed at minimum. Source code is not a requirement. Documentation, process information, interviews and a demonstration can also be enough.

  2. 02

    Investigation

A senior specialist examines the agreed question using the available information and conversations with the relevant people.

  3. 03

    Feedback

You receive a report of two to three pages covering what is in place, the risks and points of attention identified, the possible routes and our recommendation. We discuss the outcome with the decision-maker.

What to expect from a discovery

Within one question, a discovery gives you a substantiated view and a direction. If the situation calls for more depth, we say so and recommend which assessment fits. Our advice is independent of any follow-on engagement and may also be that nothing needs to change or that another party is a better fit.

Which format fits

  • Technical discovery

One question, one day of investigation. For a well-founded first direction.

  • Software Audit

A broader assessment of software, architecture and technical risks, with a scope that follows the decision.

Price

€1,500 excl. VAT

A fixed price for the complete discovery, including intake, investigation, written feedback and the review session. The amount is paid in advance.

If you give us a follow-on engagement within six months, we credit up to €1,500 against that work. If the first engagement is smaller, the remaining balance stays available within that period.

Delivery guarantee

You receive written feedback that addresses the agreed question, substantiates the findings and describes concrete next steps. If we demonstrably fail to deliver that, we put it right. If that is not possible, you get your money back.
